T.I. has officially entered the rap battle foray with Philly legend Cassidy.
The self-reputed “King of the South” took to his Facebook fan page to tell Cassidy to “Catch Up.’
“Tell dat nigga Cassidy to “Catch Up” Sucka,” he wrote.
It is interesting to know what role T.I. has in the Cassidy/ Meek Mill saga.
Meek Mill and Cassidy have been trading shots for some time. Cassidy has been upset with the MMG artist for failing to collab with him soon after his rap career too off.
The animosity between the two soon grew and fans called for a rap battle. The rappers were to battle for $100,000, but Meek refused.
Hip Hop heads’ wish soon came true after Cassidy dropped “Me, Myself & iPhone.”
In the song, Cassidy raps, “And you talkin’ ‘bout a battle rap, how you gonna handle that/ 100 grand p—y n—a? You ain’t got the tag for that.”
Meek Mill responded with “Repo” Wednesday. In “Repo,” Meek raps, “Really, f—in’ ‘Condom Style,’ get ya jig on/ You a clown ass n—a, put a wig on.”
Bow Wow has even spoke on the issue and wants the two to verbally duke it out in front of a live studio audience on BET’s 106 and Park.
“Bow say let Meek and Cassidy battle on @106andpark from the Wells Fargo Center in Philly! A special “uncensored” #FREESTYLEFRIDAY,” the show’s host wrote on his Twitter account.
No word when Cassidy will respond to “Repo.”
Should T.I. stay out of “Philly’s” business? Sound off below
