Tay-K Hit With Wrongful Death Lawsuit For Chick-Fil-A Shooting

The mother of a man shot at a San Antonio Chick-Fil-A in San Antonio in April 2017 has filed a wrongful death lawsuit against rising Texas rapper Tay-K, KSAT reports.

Tay-K, whose real name is Taymor McIntyre, is accused of fatally shooting photographer Mark Anthony Saldivar.

Lucia “Lucy” Saldavir filed the suit against Tay-K Thursday in the 131st Judicial District Court. In the lawsuit, she said Tay-K “intentionally and knowingly and recklessly committed criminal homicide or murder by shooting and killing’ her son after he ‘resisted the attempts against him by Tay-K to rob him of his camera equipment.”

A Bexar County arrest warrant affidavit reportedly states Tay-K and others had picked up Saldivar to go to a photo shoot at a mall on April 23, 2017. While in the car, Tay-K and one of the other suspects pulled out guns and took Saldivar’s backpack containing his camera equipment.

The other suspect allegedly pistol-whipped Saldivar, who was forced out of the car. Saldivar tried to get back into the car, and then jumped onto the hood. Tay-K then allegedly leaned out the window and fatally shot Saldivar.
