Tekashi69’s legal woes continue to mount. Police are investigating 6ix9ine for allegedly ordering a hit on Chief Keef’s cousin Tadoe in late May, TMZ reports.
TMZ posted footage of 6ix9ine ordering the hit, which was later reported by Youtuber DJ Akademiks.
The footage features 6ix9ine arguing with Tadoe during a FaceTime call.
“I know how the streets go Blood,” 6ix9ine said. “What was the last person you shot? I know you Blood. Why you don’t go back to your city? You not hot. You ain’t sold no records. I’m good in my city. When’s the last time something happened to me in my city?”
6ix9ine concludes the FaceTime call and tells his homies, “I got a 30 pack right now on him, Blood. 30 thousand cash.”
Law Enforcement sources told TMZ they believe the call is connected to the June 2 attempted shooting of Chief Keef.
Police say the two suspects followed Sosa the night of the shooting. They first showed up at China Chalet restaurant where Keef was hanging downtown … then jumped into a dark-colored Ford Econovan.
The suspects parked the van around the block from the W and walked to the hotel to wait for Sosa. When Sosa walked outside with a friend to smoke a cigarette, the suspects fired shots in his direction. The suspects fled in the van, which was later found in Brooklyn.
Tadoe dissed the shooters when he went to the W Hotel to investigate the crime scene.
“Man, you n****s lame a– hell,” Tadoe said. “I swear to god. This yo shooter? He shoot in the air? This n***a shot past the W sign. Come one, man. We lashing up. Chiraq, get yo a– whacked. On folksnem it’s on.”
One law enforcement source told TMZ, “This is no coincidence. We believe the video is directly related to the crime. We believe Tekashi69 ordered the hit on Tadoe — who we now believe is the intended target.”
Police reportedly have two persons of interest in the Time Square incident, and one is a “known associate” of 6ix9ine.
No charges have been filed. An NYPD spokesperson declined TMZ’s request for comment. TMZ reached out to 6ix9ine’s attorney, Lance Lazzaro, but no word back yet.
Sosa was no talking when speaking with TMZ. In June, TMZ caught up with Chief Keef as he touched down in Los Angeles at LAX. Sosa was asked about the shooting incident he was involved in.
“We don’t have scary incidents,” Sosa said. “No talking.”
Tadoe chimed in, saying, “F**k all the opps. Y’all know how the f**k we rocking.”
TMZ spoke with Tekashi69 for his thoughts on Chief Keef following the incident.
“I’m a big fan of Chief Keef,” he said.
Tekashi69 went on to deny any beef between himself and the Glo Gang boss.
“My account be getting hacked. But I’m a big fan,” Tekashi69 says before he starts rapping Sosa’s lyrics to “Faneto.”
Tekashi69 told TMZ he wants to collaborate with Chief Keef.
“Just trying to find out how much a feature costs,” he said before rhyming lyrics to Sosa’s “Love Sosa.”
