The Game was granted a postponement in his upcoming court hearing for sexual assault due to the rising violence in Chicago, TMZ reports.

The West Coast rapper cited the uptick in gun violence where 69 people were shot and six people died during Memorial Day weekend in the Windy City.

Game was accused of inappropriately touching Priscilla Rainey who was a contestant on his VH1 reality show “She’s Got Game.”

Rainey sued Game in August 2015 for $10 million. In February, Game lost the case after he failed to respond to the reality star’s complaint.

Rainey must now prove why deserves $10 million in damages in a trial set to begin in November, according to XXL Mag.
