Thomas “TJ” Lane, a 17-year-old boy accused of killing three students and injuring two others Monday morning at an Ohio high school, was charged with three counts of aggravated murder on Thursday.
Lane has also been charge with two counts of attempted aggravated murder and one felony count of assault, according to CBS News.
According to Associated Press, if Lane is convicted of the juvenile counts, he will face only a few years of detention. Prosecutors hope to try Lane as an adult, which could result in a life sentence if he is found guilty.
