Hellabandz artists Top Shotta and Lil Mouse are raising funds to cover the funeral costs of aspiring rap artist CJ Bandin Up of 24 Hour Boyz. CJ, born Cyrus Johnson, and Eman, born Ephram Nelson Jones, were found shot dead inside a van early Sunday Monday in Ford Heights, a small suburb outside of Chicago.
Shotta and Mouse took to IG to request support:
The two artists were deeply distraught after learning news of the tragedy.
“RIP 2 MY N*GGAS! THIS SH*T CANT B TRU! LOSING 2 MANY REAL N*GGAS! #24HB #FREEHOODRICH #MT2 #RIPLRIDER RIP CJ & EMAN,” Mouse captioned his post on IG.
Shotta also issued a statement via IG.
“LIFE F*CKED UP
“LOST 3 OF MY BROTHERS DIS WEEK MY MIND F*CKED UP WANT BE ON IG MUCH #LONGLIVETHEGUYS #LRIDER @cj_bandinup @24hourboyz,” the captions on his posts read.
The slayings of CJ, 19, and Eman, 17, were one of two double homicides that occurred over the weekend in Ford Heights. Mchezo McMilian, 38, and Ashley Hudson, 21, were found dead Friday inside of a home from multiple gunshot wounds.
Authorities are investigating whether the four slayings are related.
CJ recently celebrated the birth of a newborn son before his tragic murder.
CJ was one-half of Hip Hop duo 24 Hour Boyz. He and protégé EJ recently dropped a visual to their latest single “Everybody B*tch.”
Other songs the duo released include “Everyday,” “Turn Yo Thot Down,” “No Sense,” “Shout Out To The Gang,” “You Ain’t Know” “I Got It” “Don’t Go” and more.
