Troy Ave was trending early Thursday on social media, but not for good reasons. Troy Ave’s debut album “Major Without A Deal” was deemed a failure after Neilsen Soundscan stats revealed the Brooklyn rapper only sold 30 copies of the project. Most of his sales came from digital copies, which total 4,373 album sold.
Troy Ave took to social media to react to news.
“Official #’s in Fri or Mon. since album dropped last Fri but at 95% +30k single sold & hosting’s I Prob made 120 THOUSAND in 1week #RTthat,” he wrote on Twitter.
Troy Ave’s project features from 50 Cent, Young Jeezy, Ty Dolla $ign, Young Jeezy, Fabolous, T.I., A$Ap Ferg, Rick Ross, Cam’ron and more.
