Troy Ave Says He’s Going To Snitch On Taxstone During Murder Trial

Troy Ave isn’t trying do anytime for the fatal shooting that killed his bodyguard and friend Ronald “Banga” McPhatter. Troy said he’s going to testify against podcast personality Taxstone in their upcoming trial in his new song “2 Legit 2 Quit.”

Troy is show in an animated visual for the single reenacting the events of that fateful night. The Brooklyn rapper is even shown sticking up his middle finger from the witness stand.

Troy raps, “I’m only loyal to my fam/Middle finger from the stand/It’s either me or you.”

Taxstone, whose real name is Daryl Campbell, was indicted for firearm possession as a felon in June 2017. Less than a month later, he was indicted for second-degree murder.
