President Obama addressed an audience at a campaign fundraiser in New York City on Thursday, March 1.
“We ended torture, we promoted human rights. We made it clear America’s a Pacific power,” Obama told an audience. “We are leading by the power of our moral example.”
The President was then interrupted by a female heckler in the audience.
“Use your leadership – no war on Iran!” she shouted, according to a tweet made by ABC News’ Jake Tapper.
Obama responded, “Nobody’s announced a war, young lady, but we appreciate your sentiment. You’re jumping the gun a little bit there.”
