Young Pappy’s brother and rising Chicago rapper BuDouble was shot in a shooting incident in the Uptown neighborhood on the City’s North Side Sunday afternoon.
BuDouble, 24, was shot nine times about 12:45 p.m. in the 1200 block of West Ainslie when he heard shots and felt pain, the Chicago Sun-Times reports. BuDouble was reportedly hit in the right side of his torso and leg, but managed to get himself to Weiss Memorial Hospital.
BuDouble has been listed in stable condition, according to DNAinfo.com
BuDouble’s brother Young Pappy, born Shaquon Thomas, was gunned down the morning of Friday, May 29. The “Shooters” rapper succumbed to two gunshot wounds to his back in Uptown. He was taken to Advocate Masonic Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
