Young Pappy’s Brother, BuDouble, Speaks On Getting Shot 9 Times
BuDouble, an up and coming Chicago rapper, is currently recovering from wounds sustained in a September 2015 shooting incident. The “I Ain’t Going” rapper was shot nine times in the Uptown neighborhood on Chicago north side. BuDouble was reportedly hit in the right side of his torso and leg, but managed to get himself to Weiss Memorial Hospital.
BuDouble opened up on his injuries during an exclusive interview with Peoplez Sinatra
“I feel real good and real determined about my career,” he said.
Bu revealed he taught Young Pappy how to rap in the first-grade. Pappy, he said, learned quickly and was rapping like he was in the fifth-grade.
“It was crazy. That little n***a was so talented,” he said. “He had more drive than me back then. I was more focused on the streets. His primary objective was always music. The streets took a hold of a motherf****r life. That’s what put us in the predicaments and the situations we forced to face today.”
Bu opened on his near fatal shooting incident.
“Shit was real,” he said. “I had got shot before. I been in a lot of situations and sh*t could’ve been worse. So I’m just blessed. Motherf*****s tried to kill me. …You live another day. We fighters. We keep fighting. That’s what we here for.”
BuDouble said he has a lot of music in store for fans once he gets 100 percent.
“I got a lot more sh*t to talk about,” he said. “A lot more pain to get off my chest. The sh*t I got coming out: ‘Pray For Me,’ ‘Killa,’ ‘I’m Back,’ ‘2 Pap Vol. 1.’”
Bu said “2 Pap Vol. 1” is already done and he’s already working on volume two.
“I’m ready, man,” he said. “I’m ready.”
