Music Icon Michael Jackson’s unreleased tracks dating all the way back to his “Off the Wall” days was recently hacked. Now, two men have been charged with the theft, according to authorities.
Sony Music Entertainment spokeswoman Liz Young told the Associated Press the company noticed a breach of its systems in May, “and immediately took steps to secure the site and notify authorities. As a result, the two suspects were arrested.”
The suspects James Marks, 26, and James McCormick, 25, were arrested in May and charged in September with computer misues and copyright offenses, according to Britain’s Serious Organized Crime Agency. They appeared in Leicester Crown Court in central England on Friday and pleaded not guilty.
They are currently out on bail and will stand trial in January.
