Lil Durk gaves fans “More Bars” on Feb. 6. But sadly, there will be no more bars from the Def Jam rapper.
Lil Durk declared his fan favorite “52 Bars” series is no more. The OTF frontman announced “More Bars: 52 Bars Pt. 4” would be his last just a day after its release.
“No more 52bars dats last version 1-4 go crazy,” he wrote.
Durk’s latest “52 Bars” proved to be the darkest release in the series as he touches on fame, death and hate. Anger could be felt in Durk’s voice as a myriad of crazed thoughts oozed out into his mic.
Durk expressed his hatred of the Chiraq streets for the lives it took, including close brothers J Munna, Lil Rob and Sherrod. He goes on to blast “opps,” rapping, “J Money was tortured, I hate the streets just took Lil Rob/I just copped a brick, I heard these n****s all p***y fried/Asking why they take Sherrod/Gave a inch, they took a yard/(?) on my head, Beulla in this b***h/Except our guns playin all the music in this b***h/Opps be on that Twitter war, stop you ain’t no hitter boa/Stop you ain’t no killer boa/All this s**t a gimmick boa/All the opps, they trippin boa/Got the news trending boa/Chiraq Drillinois!”
Durk is currently prepping two projects, including the follow up to his “Signed To The Streets” mixtape and “OTF” album. The projects are slated to drop some time this year.
