A University of North Carolina at Asheville student was found dead in her dorm room this past weekend.
Anita Raphaela Chambers, a 22-year-old sophomore form Asheville, was found unresponsive in her room on Sunday around noon, a university spokesman said.
No foul play is suspected. Chambers appeared to have died of natural causes.
“It’s a sad situation,” Bill Haggard, vice chancellor for student affairs told Citizen-Times. “I want to respect the privacy of the deceased and the privacy of the family.”
