The problems just don’t seem to end for Chief Keef. Sosa is being sued for more than $175,000 after missing a scheduled performance at an Auburn University frat house and keeping $12,000 in advance money, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.
Sosa was reportedly scheduled to perform April 25 at the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity house in Auburn, AL, but was a no-show, according to a lawsuit filed by The Booking Collective, LLC. The “Bang 3” rapper was to be paid $22,000 for his performance, $12,000 of which he received upfront.
The Booking Collective owns and operates the website FratShows.com, which reportedly “organizes concerts at fraternity houses and other locations on college campuses across the country.” The suit alleges The Booking Collective’s reputation suffered after Sosa skipped out on the performance.
The Booking Collective states it spent more than $5,000 on preparation for Sosa’s arrival that included food, beverages, alcohol and hotel reservations.
Sigma Phi Epsilon hit the Booking Collective with a $70,000 lawsuit after Sosa’s failed appearance.
Sosa is accused of being active social media during the time he was supposed to be at his performance.
The lawsuit seeks more than $175,000 in damages.
