G Herbo exploded social media after announcing plans to drop a controversial record titled, “F*ck The Police.”
“F*ck The Police Anthem coming soon,” Herb wrote on Twitter.
Herb is upset with the police shootings of Alton Sterling, 37, and Philando Castile, 32.
Sterling, 37, was selling CDs outside a convenience store when police arrived on a report he had a weapon. A struggle later ensued between Sterling and the two officers and Sterling was ultimately shot.
One of the officers discovered Sterling had a gun in his pocket during the struggle before they opened fire on him.
A gun was later removed from Sterling after he was shot dead.
Louisiana Gov. John Bel Edwards told reporters today the U.S. Justice Department’s Civil Rights Division would be the lead agency investigating the shooting. The U.S. attorney’s office in Baton Rouge, the FBI and state police also will be involved.
Castille was shot and killed during a traffic stop Wednesday night in Falcon Heights, MN.
Castille and girlfriend Lavish Reynolds were stopped for a broken tail light. Reynolds, who captured the aftermath of the shooting, said her Castille had a permit for his weapon and informed the officer he was armed. Reynolds said Castille was reaching for his ID upon the request of the officer when he was shot.
