NBA Youngboy recently chopped it up with Detroit rapper Snap Dogg over the phone. Snap recorded the call on IG.
Youngboy revealed he’d be home this month.
He said, “NBA Youngboy, I come home Feb. 22. And that’s on gang.”
NBA Youngboy is accused of being involved in a drive-by shooting that left one friend with a gunshot wound in the neck last month, WAFB reports. Youngboy, born Kentrell Gaulden, has since been charged with two counts of attempted second-degree murder.
Youngboy, 17, was the alleged shooter in the incident that occurred in his hometown of Baton Rouge on Nov. 2. The “38 Baby” rapper was one of three passengers in the vehicle.
NBA Youngboy was arrested in late November during a performance in Austin, Texas on a felony warrant after his concert was raided. He was booked in Travis County jail on Monday, Nov. 28 on an “undetermined,” out of state felony. He was held without bond.
