Rapper 50 Cent, born Curtis Jackson, has established himself as one of the most sought after artists ever since his groundbreaking “Get Rich or Die Tryin’” album debut in 2003.
But the G-Unit front man has been grinding on the music scene since the late 90s. The rapper signed to the Columbia Record after departing with Jam Master Jay and being discovered by producers Trackmasters.
Little do rap fans know, the G-Unit front man appeared in an old Method Man music video that was released in 1998. Noticeably younger and heavier, the rapper portrayed a thug who initiated a brawl inside a club in the music video “Break Ups to Make Ups.”
A fan brought the music video to the rapper’s attention via Twitter writing, “Just saw a young @50cent in a Method Man/D’Angelo video. Wow. U were a baby.”
50 cent responded, “U saw that wow.”
