The New York Daily News reported yesterday Bobby Shmurda was released on $2 million bond. But this report happens to be false.
Bobby Shmurda’s attorney Alex Spiro told The Fader Bobby is still being held in protective custody “for the foreseeable future.”
Bobby, 21, is set to being trial on May 11 when he faces charges of conspiracy, reckless endangerment, criminal possession of a weapon and criminally using drug paraphernalia.
The “Hot N*gga” rapper’s mother, Leslie Pollard, requested fans to be present during his trial, saying they are “open court dates,” according to XXL Mag.
“The fans are absolutely welcome to come down and show support,” she said. “The more people he can look back and see is better for him.”
