Boonk is the hottest entertainer in social media right now. Boonk sat down with NBC 6 to discuss his daring stunts that has landed him in jail.
“I call it boonkin cause I’m running off,” he said. “When I got arrested it was officers they knew who I was.”
Boonk, born John Robert Hill, was charged with burglary and petit theft after stealing a tray of doughnuts from a Dunkin’ Donuts in Miami Gardens on Saturday, May 13.
Boonk was reportedly referred to a court program with an alternate bond of $1,500 in the Dunkin’ Donuts case. He later pleaded not guilty and was sentenced to 60 days of probation.
“All my videos are real,” he said. “The thing is, it’s the reactions I get. …It’s a publicity stunt. Now that I got up there, now I’m tryna get my music back in.”
