US Weekly is reporting Pop singer Britney Spears may be heading to Fox’ “The X Factor” to join Simon Cowell as a judge. Sources purport Spears reached out to the producers at “X Factor” in hopes of a landing a spot on season 2.

X Factor may potentially take the one-time pop superstar up on her offer. Last season’s judges Nicole Scherzinger and Paula Abdul will be returning to the show.



There have been whispers that Pop singers Janet Jackson and Fergie have expressed interest in joining the line-up of judges.

The popular show has yet to comment on the rumors.
