Lil Reese Disses Talib Kweli

Talib Kweli was engaged in a heated debate with Twitter users @Desomusic and @StevenDLindsey regarding the shooting deaths of Laquan McDonald and Tyshawn Lee. Laquan and Tyshawn are both African American and died from gun violence. Laquan, however, was unjustly killed by a CPD officer sworn to uphold the law. Tyshawn was alleged to have been killed by his father’s rival gang.

Lil Reese’s name got thrown into the mix during Talib and Deso’s “Black Lives Matter” debate.

Reese tweeted Talib, writing, “dude wat type [police] ass sh*t you on.”

The Brooklyn rapper responded, writing, “Not sure what you referring to but seems like you barking up the wrong tree son.”

Reese would go on to add, “@TalibKweli ole lame ass n***a.”
