Cashatik Is Last of a Dying Breed In Upcoming Debut Mixtape ‘Last Real N*gga Left’

Cashatik may be a newcomer on the underground Hip Hop scene, but he made his presence felt in a major way in just two short minutes with the release of his “Chiraq” music video. Cashatik had his whole hood on his back in the visual and blazed the track with veteran lyrics, rapping, “Man, f-ck be wrong with these h-e n-ggas/B-tch, I’m the truth, I’ma show n-ggas/Who is you? I don’t know n-gga.”

Cashatik is indeed planning to show the competition he is the truth with the release of his debut mixtape “Last Real Nigga Left.” The title of the project is a bold statement for the Englewood, South Side Chicago native. But Cashatik truly feels he is in a league of his own.

According to Cashatik, he brings tales of authentic street experiences to the game.

“…I really feel like I’m the last real nigga!” he explained. “Alotta rappers in Chicago ain’t with what they rap about. I live what I rap.

“Alotta artists in Chicago just doin shit!” he continued. “They talk about a lifestyle I really lived! Every one became street after ‘Bang Bang’ drop! That’s fu.”

But Cashatik’s views are meant as no offense to his fellow up and coming Chiraq MCs. Cashatik hopes to see his hometown get on.

“I love to see my city go crazy cause alotta cities threw us under the bus and ran with our style and slang,” he said. “I jus hate that we don’t stick together.”

Cashatik’s forthcoming project, hosted by DJ Bandz and DJ Victoriouz, will feature guest appearances from Bandman Kevo, Big Swirl and Young Tete, to name a few. But most of the tracks on the tape are solo joints.

“…All of em my favorite!” he said. “But I got this one joint I think gone be crazy when it drop called ‘Right Now.’ That’s one of my picks.”

Cashatik is aiming for a Halloween release date for his tape. There is special significance behind the October drop date.

“It’s a scary sight for n-ggas when I drop [laughs]. But really my producer Saint picked that date!” he said. “I kept pushing my tape back for so long.”

Cashatik’s debut will serve as his introduction to the rap game.

“This my first tape, so it’s really just alotta me letting yall know how I’m coming and tryna give yall a understanding of a real get money nigga,” he said. …I just want my following to understand this just to give em something to listen to. It’s still gone be crack. It’s just the first project I done since I got out my contract with ‘RackBoyz.’ Ain’t wanna keep em waitin too long! But this def gone be crack from beginning to end.”
