Samuel “Joe the Plumber” Wurzelbacker isn’t working on pipes these days. But he is working his way up in the politics scene. The 38-year-old former plumber defeated Steve Kraus, a Sandusky real estate agent, Wednesday to grab the Republican nomination in Ohio’s 9th Congressional District.

Gone are the days when employers would try to search their prospective job candidates on the Internet to find out more about them. Some employers, government agencies and colleges are now getting straight to the punch by asking their candidates for their Facebook password, according to MSNBC.
