A 27-year-old woman captured her shooting on Facebook Live Tuesday afternoon in South Side Chicago.
The woman filmed a heated altercation between herself and a woman seated in a car.
The woman exited her Parkway apartment to return some items to the woman she was beefing with.
“She just spent $70 on my baby at Target, now she taking it back cause she into it with me,” the woman said.
She soon got into an argument with the woman who showed off a gun.
“Girl, who you just calling a b***h,” she said. “Oh, this b***h got a gun y’all.”
The woman who had the gun replied, “Who gon smack me?”
The woman then egged on the woman with the gun.
“What you gon do with it?” she said. “I ain’t worried about that gun b***h, you will get blowed down right here in Parkway.”
The victim then threw the items in the car.
“Take that s**t back,” she said before kicking the shooter’s car. “F**k you and this car.”
A gunshot can then be heard, and the woman begins crying for help.
“She just shot me,” she said. “Call 911, she just shot me.”
Chicago Police have identified the female shooter, who has not yet turned herself in, according to Chicago Tribune.
“At this point we have no reason to suspect the video is not authentic,” CPD spokesman Anthony Guglielmi told the Tribune. “The victim in this case knows the offender and we are working to locate.”
The victim was rushed to Stroger Hospital, where she is listed in stable condition. The victim is reported to have been in a relationship with the female or male occupant in the car.
“What I can say is we believe this to be a domestic related incident between two individuals that know each other,” Guglielmi said. “We do not believe there is any threat to the public as this stemmed from an earlier interaction between the two of them.”
