Chief Keef is expanding his business portfolio. The Chicago native is using his marketing power to push his own line of “Beats By Dr. Dre’ headsets, according to terms in his Interscope deal.
The “Hate Being Sober” rapper’s headphones will be called “Beats By Keef,” Fake Shore Drive reports.
The GBE rapper, whose birth name is Keith Cozart, took to social media to excitingly reveal details of his upcoming headphones.
“Limited Edition @BeatsByDre headphones coming soon #BeatsByKeef,” he wrote via his Twitter account.
Keef uploaded a photo of GBE pal BallOut rocking a pair of headsets to his Instagram account.
“#MyBeatsInStoresNearYouSoon ☺” the caption on the photo read.
Beats Electronics was founded by Interscope Chairman Jimmy Iovine and producer Dr. Dre.
