Hot 97 DJ Funk Master Flex Mistakenly Calls Chief Keef’s ‘Loud’ ‘New Music’

DJ Kenn released his “American Dream” mixtape to favorable reviews on June 15.

The mixtape happens to feature “Loud,” a classic track by Chief Keef that dropped in 2011.

Hot 97 DJ Funk Master Flex posted the song to his blog as “new music” unaware the song was previously released.

“Sosa drops ‘Loud,’ Flex wrote on his blog. “Criticize his lyricism all you want, but you can’t knock his hustle. Listen to Keef’s latest after the jump.”

Flex also took to Twitter to share the song.

“NEW MUSIC: @ChiefKeef- Loud-bit.ly/11rd93y #IFWT,” he wrote.

Chief Keef soon informed the disc jockey the track was made in 2011.

‘American Dream’ compilation mixtape also features Sasha Go Hard, Matti Baybee, Gino Marley Capo and Lil’ Herb.
