Chicago Artist King Louie Freestyled Verse On Kanye West’s ‘Send It Up’ Track

King Louie, a premier MC from the Chi, didn’t even need a pen and a pad.

The “My Niggaz” rapper revealed during an interview with MTV News he freestyled his verse on the track “Send It Up.”

King Louie was flown out to Paris to assist Kanye West in recording the track for the highly anticipated “Yeezus” album.

“It’s a dope track. When I did the joint, we was in the studio, no B.S., like 24, 20 hours a day strong,” King L explained. “We were in Paris. I had woke and it was like a freestyle verse off the top and that turned out to be the one he was really rocking with; just genuine bars.”

King L said the final version of the song sounded “totally different” from the original.
