Killa Kellz is continuing his consistent streak of quality music with his latest track “I’m Wishin.”
The Bricksquad rapper linked producer Smylez for this solemn ode to incarcerated and deceased friends.
Some of the scenes in this visual, shot by Mr. 2 Canons, include shots captured at Chicago’s George N. Leighton’s Criminal Court Building and a cemetery. Scenes gathered at the cemetery include shots of Joseph “Lil’ JoJo” Coleman’s grave.
Lil’ JoJo’s death made national news after he was gunned down in a drive-by shooting following a highly publicized rap beef with Chief Keef’s GBE camp.
In “I’m Wishin,” Kellz raps, “I wish Aiki was still here/Everytime I think of JoJo I shed a tear/But we gon ball hard for yall that’s every year/And the life I’m living, I know that my time is near.”
Kellz goes on to question why Lil’ JoJo decided to be on a bike the moment he was murdered and why slain teen Aiki Muhammad went out the night he was shot.
Kellz latest visual is a must watch.
