Lil Durk’s day has finally come. This day is what aspiring rappers dream about. For Durk, his dream is now his reality. The OTF frontman perhaps selected a June release date to commemorate a sort of graduation. Students all over the country wear the cap and gown with pride knowing the obstacles it took to walk across that stage. Durk’s journey is no different. We watched Durk grow and mature over the past few years to get to this point. He’s finally there and he deserves every bit of the blessings that’s come his way. Durk’s 12-track effort features guest appearances from Jeremih, Logic, Hypno Carlito and King Popo. Durk’s project is available in both stores and on iTunes.
Durk has gotten some support from both the Hip Hop and Sports realms.
John Wall of the Washington Wizards called for IG followers to cop Durk’s project.
MMG’s Rick Ross and Meek Mill showed support.
Don Cannon not only copped a physical copy of Durk’s project, he also praised the South Side native for his hard work.
“1 Time For ChiTown! If anybody tell you, you can’t dream laugh at them. They hate to see us young, successful, grinding, and surviving thru all obstacles to provide for our families. If you from the streets or going thru hardships, remember to keep going hard and moving thru the mudd. This is Motivation!! #RememberMyName @real_lildurk congrats you did it bro!” he wrote in the caption of his IG post.
