Lil Durk experienced a tragedy this holiday season. A day after Thanksgiving, Durk’s friend OBlock HK was gunned down in the Parkway Gardens housing complex in South Side Chicago.
Durk wrote on Twitter, “Damn lil bro” followed by a crying emoji.
HK, whose real name is Hakeem Murray, was shot shortly before 8 p.m. Friday, the Chicago Sun Times reports. He was shot multiple times, and was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 8:53 p.m.
