Kodak Black surprised fans last week after throwing a shot at Lil Uzi Vert on his IG Live.
“Rest of these fake rappers. Listen, I got so much albums coming out. I am not like these other n****s,” Kodak said. “I don’t even listen to Uzi. These n****s d**k in the booty. I don’t even listen to Yachty. N***s don’t be dropping no knowledge. Ain’t dissing, I got my own following.”
“[Kodak] is one of my classmates on the XXL,” Uzi said. “I f**k with Kodak. It ain’t nothing. I ain’t poor. It’s just you old n****s. I ain’t poor. If I was poor, that would’ve got to me. If I was poor, I would’ve had all day to think about that. But due to the fact I’m getting money.”
Kodak previously let it be known he’s not rocking with Yachty. In February, Kodak imitated Lil Boat on his IG Live when remixing his song “Minnesota.”
Kodak repeatedly said, “Kodak Minnesota.”
Kodak Black called out Lil Yachty in December 2016 for biting “Broccoli,” a slang term for marijuana. Yachty collabed with D.R.A.M. on their hit song titled after the green vegetable.
Kodak posted footage of himself vibing to the record before abruptly cutting it off.
“Who these n****s jocking my little swag, talking about broccoli?” Kodak said. “For now on, I don’t smoke broccoli, I smoke cantaloupe.”
Kodak replied, “You n****s can’t say broccoli no more. You n****s gotta say spinach or some s**t. Y’all n****s don’t smoke broccoli, y’all smoke spinach.
Yachty soon responded to Kodak’s diss in an IG post captioned, “@kodakblack all I show is love bro don’t disrespect me.”
“First off, anytime before I perform the song “Broccoli,” I say shout out to that n***a Kodak,” Yachty said. “That n***a said, ‘I told the teacher I’m a healthy kid, I smoke broccoli.’ I give all my credit. Second, I don’t even smoke broccoli. I don’t give a f**k about weed. That’s how it is. I ain’t never been no square a– n***a. I address sh*t how it is. I show all my respect.”
