Martin Shkreli is a Hip Hop connoisseur. He treats the rap genre like art. Shkreli revealed Friday he was in possession of Lil Wayne’s “Tha Carter V” album. Shkreli announced the purchase during his Periscope stream.
Shkreli alerted fans of the mystery purchase on Twitter.
“I’ll be debuting my newest rap acquisition on Periscope – tune in – will debut at 5k watching. My new rap purchase, which may go through today, makes the Wu Tang purchase look like peanuts. Am I about to buy another legendary rap album no one has? Yes, why yes, I am.”
Lil Wayne apparently has no idea how his project got in the hands of Shkreli. His camp is currently doing an internal investigation, TMZ reports.
