Maxo Kream and 19 of his friends are facing charges for having firearms in a music video. Maxo, real name Emekwanem Biosah, and NFL Cartel Bo, real name Warren Brown, were filming a rap video at Lakewood Park in March, KSAT 12 reports.
The suspects in the music video were documented gang members. Most of the extras ran when police arrived, leaving the weapons behind.
Brown, a convicted felon, was charged with illegally possessing two assault rifles and with threatening a police officer. He was released on bond and ordered to wear an ankle monitor, but has since cut it off and is now on the run.
Police were able to identify the men upon the May release of the “Hoova” music video.
Click2Houston reported that 11 people are either in state or federal custody while nine people are wanted on warrants.
