Meek Mill celebrated his 30th birthday this past weekend with a three-track project titled “Meekend Music.” The songs features guest appearances from Asap Ferg and Young Thug. Production on the Honorable C-Note, Maaly Raw, Murda and Stoopid.
Most notable about this project were Meek’s references to Drake. Meek sneak dissed Drizzy in two songs.
In the Asap Ferg-assisted and C-Note-produced record “Slay,” Meek raps, “Back in this b***h and you know we reloaded/Look at the credits to tell you who wrote it.”
Meek continues his ghostwriting allegations, rapping, “Maybe I’ll sell if I rap and I lie/Maybe I’ll sell if I let n****s write it.”
The Philly emcee references Drake’s “More Life” album in the Stoopid-produced record “Left Hollywood.”
Meek raps, “Go to war like we got like four lives/Talking before like, all this little rap s**t/Where I’m from if you turn 18, then that’s ‘More Life’ for real n***a.”
Project is available for streaming/download on Live Mixtapes.
