Nicki Minaj, the originator of the “Chiraq” song featuring Lil Herb, was surprised by the response to her viral hit track that swept the nation. The track inspired many remixes.
Nicki recently announced the best “Chiraq” freestyle she’s heard thus far.
Nicki Minaj crowned The Game during an interview with DJ Semtex.
“I have to say The Game bodied it,” she said. “He kind of surprised me. I feel like that was one of the most lyrical Game verses I heard in years. I didn’t really expect him to go that crazy. That was one that really stood out to me.
It was Lil Durk who drew the ire of Game in Tyga’s “Chiraq To LA.”
DJ Skee recently caught up with the Compton MC for the scoop behind his involvement in the rap beef.
“Tyga called me,” Game said. “When I first got the call, I didn’t even know who Lil Durk was. So Tyga hit me like, ‘yeah, we going in on Lil Durk.’ I’m like, ‘alright, cool I’m riding with the little homie.’ I went in without hearing any Durk records… I didn’t even hear Tyga’s part. I just did me. I gave it to Tyga and they dropped it the next day. It was everywhere, man.
The beef between Durk and Tyga erupted after the OTF Coke Boy’s verse on Meek Mill’s “Chiraq” remix.
Lil Durk took aim at the “Rack City” rapper, rapping, “Heard Tyga sneak dissing on me, telling thot b*****s I’m not right/Tyga only got one name, but that n***a only got one stripe/He backpack, so it’s easy to get the n***a s**t snatched/Ask Mally Mal to get his s**t back/It’s Chiraq don’t come her. You ain’t from here, don’t come here.”
