P. Rico got social media shaking early Friday after announcing plans to release a new mixtape. Rico chose a hot title for the project.
“NEW MIXTAPE CUMMIN SOON……. ‘Streets Been Calling Rico,’” he wrote.
Rico is looking for star features on his much-anticipated project. He requested the talents of Tyga for his sophomore mixtape.
“@Tyga WATSUP BRO LETS WORK REAL N*GGA SH*T….#CHIRAQ,” he wrote on Twitter.
Rico was the talk of the underground in Summer 2013 after the release of his viral record “Hang With Me,” which spurred a slew of remixes from artists. The track’s Fly Visual-directed music video currently has close to 4 million views on YouTube.
This single appeared on Rico’s debut mixtape “Welcome To Puerto Rico.” This tape also features hit songs “No Lackin,” “Hang Wit Me,” “Gladiators,” “No Love” and “Make Noise.”
Rico has stayed busy in the past year with a slew of records released on the net. Rico’s “How” is his biggest record of 2014.
Other records Rico bodied include “Hot N*gga” remix, “SKRRRT” and “Goin Back” Featuring Kash Da Kid, Swagg Dinero and Speaker Knockerz.
No word on the release date of Rico’s project.
