Bishop Eddie Long, pastor at New Birth Missionary Baptist Church, decided to temporarily step down from his church to focus on his family, The Washington Post reports.

Gulnare Free Will Baptist church in Kentucky overturned a decision that barred mixed-race couples from membership, the Huffington Post reports. This decision comes amid an outcry of racial injustice.
The church overturned the decision Sunday, saying that it welcomes all believers

“The girl was older than me and she cut the lights off. I don’t know what happened. She pulled my pants down. I was 11 and she was like 14. When she pulled my pants down, I went to feel her like what are your doing and I felt she was naked. Then I stopped like oh.”

On Sunday Dec. 4, Bowling Green State University Gospel Choir held their 41st Annual Fall Concert in the Bowen-Thompson Student Union. The event, titled “80s Style Fall Concert,” drew a crowd of nearly 100 participants.

Sunday, Dec. 4 marks the 105th anniversary of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., the first inter-collegiate black Greek fraternity. Henry Arthur Callis, Charles Henry Chapman, Eugene Kinckle Jones, George Biddle Kelley, Nathaniel Allison Murray, Robert Harold Ogle and Vertner Woodson Tandy founded the fraternity at Cornell University on Dec. 4, 1906.

The Black Student Union at Bowling Green State University held their annual fashion show on Saturday, Dec. 3 in the Bowen-Thompson Student Union. Incorporating an exotic theme, the title of this year’s show was “The Fierce Nature Fashion Show: Only the Strong Survive.”

A Michigan State University student has been found dead at an off-campus apartment, authorities said. No foul play has been suspected.
