A Philly man has been charged with attempted murder for the stabbing of 27-year-old Eric Parker, the New York Daily News reports. Pierce Boykin, 31, is alleged to have been involved in an altercation with Parker outside Che Bar & Grill. De’Von Pickett, 29, was stabbed to death during the incident. Boykin was not charged in Pickett’s death.

“At this time, they just have enough information that ties that subject to stabbing the second gentleman,” police spokeswoman Christine O’Brien told the Daily News.

“It’s still an active investigation so that could change at any time,” she said.

Nicki Minaj, Pusha T and Fabolous took to social media to mourn the loss of Pickett and wish Parker a speedy recovery.

“#Rp @myfabolouslife- these guys flew into Philly for my tour rehearsals 2 days ago and were both stabbed last night. #RIPDAYDAY condolences to your family. Unbelievable. Eric (on the right) is recovering. Another senseless act of violence that took the life of a great guy. So sad,” the caption on his post read.
