‘Hot N*gga’ Producer Jahlil Beats Speaks On Bobby Shmurda’s Case

Jahlil Beats can be credited with producing the sound that birthed Bobby Shmurda’s viral record “Hot N*gga.”

Hip Hop Wired caught up with the Roc Nation producer for his thoughts on Bobby’s legal situation.

“I just think it’s unfortunate,” he said. “I really don’t know everything about the situation. I know he in good spirits. I hope that him and Rowdy pull through and the whole GS9. That’s my guys.

He added, “I just been talking to Sha Money XL, just giving them my condolences. Tryna keep em in good spirits.”

Bobby Shmurda, born Ackquille Pollard, remains jailed at the Manhattan Detention Complex on charges of conspiracy, reckless endangerment, criminal possession of a weapon and criminally using drug paraphernalia. Bobby was ordered held on $2 million bail.

He is due back in court on April 22.
