Playboi Carti has been cleared of battery charges he got after allegedly assaulting his girlfriend at LAX, TMZ reports.

In July, Carti and his girlfriend reportedly seen by authorities pushing each other. Carti is accused of grabbing his girlfriend by the backpack, and forcing her inside an Uber.

Carti was arrested on a misdemeanor domestic battery, and released on $20,000 bail.

Carti has the L.A. City Attorney to thank for deciding not to file charges against him. The L.A. City Attorney decided to instead hold an informal hearing with Carti and his girlfriend to discuss how to prevent the incident from occurring again.

Carti is not fully in the clear though. The rapper still has to keep his nose clean or the charges will be refiled.
