Preacher Plans To Baptize Chief Keef After Release From Juvenile Detention

Chief Keef is officially planning to turn his life over to Jesus Christ, a local Chicago preacher revealed.

The Rev. Corey Brooks told the Chicago Sun-Times he plans to baptize the Interscope artist upon his release from the Illinois Youth Center.

Chief Keef, born Keith Cozart, is serving 60 days in juvenile detention for violating his probation.

Brooks said he recently visited the “I Don’t Like” rapper and will baptize him at his non-denominational New Beginnings Church in the Woodlawn neighborhood, according to the Sun Times.

Brooks told the Sun Times Chief Keef “has had a chance to think. He is an entertainer, that is how he sees himself. But at the same time, he has a God-consciousness. He is not some terror who is wreaking havoc.”

We wish Chief Keef all the best in his transition to serve Christ. Do you think he will begin making Christian raps? Sound off below
