If there were any question into what sorority R&B singer Monica would have pledged, the singer wants to assure fans that it would’ve been out of the question.

A user on Twitter asked the “Without You” singer which Divine Nine sorority would she have pledged.

“@MonicaBrown what sorority would u pledge. AKA, SGRho, ZphiB or DST,” Monica’s follower asked.

“I wouldnt have pledged i watched Linda do it LOL,” Monica replied.



The R&B community is no stranger to the Divine Nine. Several members have crossed the burnings sands of their respective Black Greek organization.

Fellow R&B songstress Alicia Keys is an honorary member Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.

Kelly Price is an honorary member of Sigma Gamma Rho.

90s R&B star Montell Jordan is a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. He was initiated via the Beta Omega chapter at Pepperdine University.
