Carmelo Anthony is the topic of discussion after declaring himself a free agent upon opting out of his contract with the New York Knicks.

The question on everybody’s minds is what team the 2013 NBA scoring champion will head too.

A slew of celebrities and fans have made pitches to woo Anthony to their favorite teams.

Even R. Kelly sang a jingle in hopes of wooing the seven-time NBA All-Star to the Chicago Bulls during an interview with WGCI 107.5.



Slim Thug is the latest celebrity to offer his pitch to Anthony. Thugga hopes Anthony decides to play for his beloved team Houston Rockets.

There have been talks that the Chicago Bulls have been in talks with Anthony. Slim Thug is steadfastly against the notion of Anthony becoming a Bull, citing the city’s cold weather. He even went as far as saying Chicago is no place for Anthony to raise his child.

“Chicago get cold as f-ck @carmeloanthony @lala and I know u dnt want your kid growing up in Chiraq,” he wrote.



Thugga soon faced backlash for his remarks and was surprised by the reaction.



The “One Night” rapper then wrote Chicago Bulls would never have another reign in the League.

“What MJ did for Chicago will never be topped yall win 3 rings here y’all will be legends @carmelo athony,” he wrote.
