A student has become a victim of a possible hate crime at Williams College, Fox 23 reports. Samuel Flinn, who is gay, found word “f*g” carved into his door.

“Acts like these are just not acceptable,” the sophomore student told Fox 23.

The crime occurred during Queer Pride Month at the college.

Flinn said incident was a “break in the trust in the community that Williams built.”

Taj Smith, Assistant Director of the Multicultural Center at Williams College, called the incident a “horrible event” and thinks the “majority of the campus really supports treating each other with respect.”
