In song “Juicy,” Notorious B.I.G rapped, “You never thought that Hip Hop would take it this far.”

N.W.A. took further than anyone could’ve imagined with the release of biopic “Straight Outta Compton.”

The urban flick chronicling the rise of one of Hip Hop’s most successful rap groups came in No. 1 for the third week in a row with $13. 2 million generated in sales this past weekend, according to Fox News.

The film has made a total of $134.1 million thus far making it the most successful musical biopic ever.

Ice Cube, whose son O’Shea Jackson Jr. portrays him in the film, was pleased with news of the film being No. 1 for the third week in a row.

Ice Cube wrote on Twitter, “Wow! I’m speechless… Thank you for seeing #Straightouttacompton.”
