Tink earned a nod in BET Awards’ Best Female Hip Hop artist category. Tink will be competing against fellow femcees Nicki Minaj, Dej Loaf, Azealia Banks and Trina.
Tink and Timbaland took to IG to react to the news.
Tink’s caption on her post read, “It’s not about who wins the race, but more about who sets the pace! Thank you @BET for the nomination.. Everything counts!!”
Tim later wrote, “@official_tink TeamTimbo congrats to my lil tinker bell we just starting!!!!!!!”
Not all female artists listed were pleased with their nominations. Miss Banks took to Twitter to criticize the female Hip Hop category.

The 2015 BET Awards will be held Sunday, June 28 at Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles.
