Waka Flocka has come to defend the new age of rappers. Waka appears to not take too kindly to Lil Wayne saying he had no knowledge on 21 Savage, Lil Yachty, Lil Uzi Vert and Kodak Black.
“Motherf*****s be throwing shade to these young n****s, too,” Waka said. “Y’all n****s stop fronting like they y’all don’t be hearing about these young n****s out here rapping, turning up. Stop hating on these young n****s, you old a– worm.”
Waka says he can empathize with the new rappers because old rappers used to hate on him when he was popping.
“Y’all young n****s don’t owe these old heads s**t! Facts! Opinions is like Honda’s everybody got one. Instead of judge the young boys! Teach the young boys. Give us a little game with handing us a contract. Where the love at. Tell them the mistakes you made so they won’t do the same ones. What happen to each one teach one.”
Weezy asked his thoughts on XXL Freshman 2016 rappers 21 Savage, Lil Yachty, Lil Uzi Vert and Kodak Black during an interview with The New York Times.
“I swear to God I didn’t know you were saying people’s name just now, so that should probably answer that question,” Tunechi said. “I just do my own thing.”
