Rappers-turned-Business moguls Will Smith and Jay-Z are using their wealth in hopes of generating more wealth. The pair have partnered to invest in Viddy, a new video sharing application for the iPhone, Contact Music reports.
Viddy boasts over 10 million users. Many have recently become introduced to the video platform through FaceBook, as the application is commonly shared.
Jay-Z’s Roc Nation and Smith’s Overbrook Entertainment Company have backed the rising video platform.
In this new technological era, it has become common practice amongst investors and businesspersons alike to jump on the latest products in hope of generating a large economic return.
