Young Thug’s fascination with women’s clothing didn’t come after the fame. Thug revealed during an interview with Billboard he has been wearing the opposite gender’s clothing since a pre-teen. It even came with some serious consequences.

“When I was 12, my feet were so small I wore my sisters’ glitter shoes. My dad would whoop me: ‘You’re not going to school now, you’ll embarrass us!’ But I never gave a f— what people think.”

Thugger wants to redefine gender rules in fashion.

“When it comes to swag,” he said. “There’s no gender involved.”
